I wore this chemise with a linen maxi skirt to a Scottish Festival last weekend. It was quite warm outside with temperatures in the upper 80s (Fahrenheit) and the breathable linen fabric kept me from overheating. I got SO many compliments! This chemise will be a versatile piece in my wardrobe for the festivals and renn faires I go to.
I purchased a chemise, skirt hike, belt and purse. I am incredibly happy with the purchase and the quality of the items. I did deal with customer service when I decided to have another item added to my purchase and they responded quickly and were able to add the item. So I bought this to go to a Ren faire... Surprise! But it is so comfortable! I have legit just worn it around the house looking like a comfy Victoria ghost! I love it!

I am so fond of these linen chemises. I ordered the natural clay color prior to purchasing this ivory one, which to me is more of a pure white. I appreciate that they are ready to ship rather than having to wait the time for custom processing. I wear them as both a chemise under a skirt and also as a nightgown. They make lovely nightgowns for those of us who still enjoy wearing a nightgown versus pajamas. That being said, these run tremendously large. I have a bust measurement of 41” and I probably have an excess foot of fabric on either side of me in the large, despite that being my recommended size on the measurement chart. The rest of me is rather small (28” waist, 36” hip) but honestly you could likely fit two of me in my recommended size. Regardless, I will still purchase them anytime a new color becomes a “ready to ship” item because they are super comfy and cute. I get compliments every time I wear them under a skirt with a belt or corset.
