Feel like royalty in this silky chemise made from chiffon. Lightweight and dreamy, this off-the-shoulder peasant chemise is the perfect staple to wear under your corset or costume.This chemise features a delicate ruffle at the neckline, secured with elastic, making for a comfortable and snug fit around your shoulders. The 1/2" length sleeve has a short dainty ruffle at the hem.

Please note that chiffon is very sheer. You will need to wear a slip underneath this chemise if you want to wear it on it's own. Better yet, pair it with a set of our Victorian Bloomers.

So cute! So sheer! So ruffle sleeve! So comfy!

This chemise joins a total of three sheer chemises that I've bought from French Meadows. It's the same colour as the long-sleeved ivory chemise, which is a beautiful creamy pale yellow. Do note that although some pictures make it look more of a white or off-white, it is definitely yellow, but it pairs well with several of the fabrics that the shop uses for their corsets. I LOVE the ruffle details at the neckline and the sleeves—they add such a cute flair to the chemise. The fabric is very soft, and it's very comfortable under a corset. It's great! If they add a white or a pink sheer chemise, I might wind up with four or five! ;)
