I bought this for myself and the garment is lovely and as far as the vest itself is concerned. It just so happens it fits me slightly oversized and fits my husband perfectly. We took it for a spin at a 3 day larp event and my husband wore this for about 2 days total. It looks great and was comfortable in warmer weather but each and every button systematically popped off over the course of the event. We did lose 2 of the buttons which is unfortunate since it came with only 1 replacement button but we will either take the top button or buy completely new buttons to replace all of them. I really do love the vest but the buttons are attached incredible poorly.
This vest is everything I ever wanted for my pirate outfit for an upcoming renaissance faire. The quality is amazing, and it looks just like the picture, if not better! I had a little trouble with the email I chose for updates (100% my fault), so I reached out to the shop, and within a couple hours, they were able to help me change the email on their end so I could see all of my order details. I will absolutely be buying from French Meadows again.
